The 21 Days of Prayer may be over, but what God has been stirring in us isn’t meant to stop there. As we step into 2026 with a clear vision—to know Him and make Him known—this is where the real formation begins.

21 Days of Prayer Wrap-up
If you participated in the 21 Days of Prayer, thanks for joining us! I don't know about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed getting to look at a different title/aspect of Jesus every day through the Jesus devotional booklet and the Scriptures.
But we're not done! In light of our experience through the 21 Days and our 2026 theme of To Know Him & Make Him Known, I want to do two things...
1. Encourage you to read Scripture
If you participated fully in the 21 Days, you've been giving a portion of each day to spend with the Lord for the first three weeks of 2026. So keep it going! And if you didn't do the 21 Days, then let's start today with developing a daily habit of spending time with Jesus through the Scriptures and prayer.
One of the most helpful things to help you prioritize time with Jesus will be a Bible reading plan. You can find some on the Freebies page of our website, tons through the YouVersion Bible app, or even create your own reading plan (this is America, after all!). One new Bible reading tool I recently discovered is an iOS app called Bible Box (sorry Android users!). I am using it to help me read through the entire Bible chronologically this year.

2. Look at the Heart of Christ
For the next couple of months, we are going to continue looking at Jesus here in the weekly email. But rather than look at more titles Jesus bears (like we did during the 21 Days), we are going to plunge deep into the heart of Jesus through Matthew 11:28-30, which says...
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30, ESV)
Each week, we'll look at a different part of those three verses, beginning with the opening phrase, "Come to me." So join me next week right here as we see the invitational heart of Christ.
