In Acts chapter 2, verse 41 we learn that 3000 people were saved through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Those people began devoting themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship. These “redeemed people of God” we’re praising God and finding favor with all around them. God used this scenario to add more and more to their numbers. Of course, the only way this could happen was if the redeemed people lived among the non-redeemed.
