Happy Independence Day!

We are taking a one-week break from our One Body series to wish you a Happy Fourth of July! Whether you walk in a parade this morning, set off fireworks later tonight, enjoy a relaxing day at home, or put in some hours at work, we just want to encourage you to take some time today to thank God for allowing us to live in a nation where we can worship Him freely.

While you are praying, be sure to pray for our elected officials (1 Timothy 2:1-3), that God would give them wisdom, and they would seek to honor God in the decisions they make for the good of all American citizens. And lastly, if you are a follower of Jesus, not only thank God for your American citizenship, but more importantly thank Him for your citizenship in Heaven! (Philippians 3:20)
