In Mark chapter 12 verses 13-17, the Pharisees devised a scheme to effectively get Jesus “canceled”. They come up with a great plan to trap him with flattery and trickery. Even more devious, they team up with the Herodians, their biggest rivals, to ensnare Jesus.
In Today’s sermon, Pastor Erin teaches us how “cancel culture” is nothing new and even Jesus faced being canceled. It’s important in these instances to understand who God is and know that we are bearers of his image.
