1 Peter, Chapter 5 verses 6 through 11 instructs us as believers to be humble, to be watchful, and to stand firm in resisting the devil. Verse 10 doesn't promise that these will be easy and even suggests we will endure suffering. It does, however, offer us the hope that God will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish us.
