John Maxwell, at the 2016 Global Leadership Summit, said, “Everything worthwhile is uphill.” In other words, everything you want – a good marriage, well-behaved kids, success at work, getting in shape – will take work to obtain.
The same goes for your spiritual life. Spiritual growth doesn’t just happen by accident. God works through His Scriptures, through your prayer life, through your Growth Group, and more. But that means you have to “work” – go to church, open your Bible, attend your Growth Group, etc.
