Many people have a dream and goal in life that they are working towards but have to deal with constant distraction and derailment. Similarly, Nehemiah had to deal with distraction while sticking to the mission God gave him.
Sanballat, the governor of Sumeria, and Tobiah, the governor of Amon didn’t want to lose their power in the region and set out to distract Nehemiah and his crew.
