We all long for respect. Not matter how old we are, what job we hold, or where our talents lie, we want someone to look at us and respect us for who we are and what we do. This leads us to believe that respect is something earned.
But what if God designed respect to handled differently? What if, rather than be earned, God made respect something to be given? And what if He even expected us to give respect to people that hadn't earned it?
Listen in to this deeply troublesome message from 1 Peter 2:13-25, hearing how God wants you to use respect differently than how it is normally handled in our culture. And that by doing so, you launch your casual relationships and closest relationships into the healthiest they have ever been.
