Jesus says that “everyone who has will more be given more, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” Wait a second… Jesus said that? How does that work with the concept of stewardship?

The natural inclination of many people is to get as much as you can for yourself. But good stewards of God’s money know He wants us to give it generously to help others.

The Bible doesn’t teach us how to acquire massive wealth, nor encourage us to recklessly spend. Rather, God teaches through the Scriptures that we are to be “stewards” of what He had given us. This introductory blog post to our new “Being A STEWARD” series sets the stage for the next seven weeks.
