Riverwood's hope and goal is that we have increased respect and hunger for the scriptures with this series. In the book of 2 Timothy, Paul instructs and educates Timothy on giving the people sound doctrine and sound living. In chapter 3, verses 16 and 17, Paul says that every scripture is breathed out by God.
This means that not only is all of the scripture generally inspired by God but each of the individual details is also inspired by God. For Example, 3 different instruments will produce different sounds even with the same person playing them. This is a reflection of God’s "breath" in the Biblical text. Each author is an “instrument” of God in the writing of the Bible but God is the "musician."
